A couple from Hampshire are celebrating after completing their family with triplets, born seven years apart
Helen and Oliver Baker, from Fareham, now have three children, Hugo, seven, who was born in 2011 and now siblings, Coco and Monty, born just two months ago.
The three children are deemed triplets, despite the age gap, as they all came from the same stored embryos created in 2010.
Helen endured nine rounds of IVF to fall pregnant with Hugo and a tenth cycle earlier this year was successful.
Helen told The Sun she never thought she would be able to have children, but is now over the moon.
Against all odds
She said: “It’s been a long journey but I now have a happy family. I feel like I have defied all of the odds possible.”
The couple sold their home to fund their treatment, which totally £17,500.
Helen experienced two miscarriages and had her fallopian tubes removed before she conceived Hugo.
They are now settling into life as a family of five.
