Tan France to have first child via surrogate

Queer Eye favourite Tan France has revealed he is to become a father

Tan and his husband, Rob, announced the news to his 3.8 million followers with a scan photo of the baby they are expecting via surrogate.

The 37-year-old fashion designer and television presenter said in the post: “So happy to finally share we are having a baby. With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to becoming parents, this summer.

“This is something we’ve wanted for sooo many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby and show him so much love.”

The post gained more than 12,000 likes.

In his most recent post, Tan, who originates from Doncaster, said in a video the couple had been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support they had received.

He said: “I just wanted to thank you all for the most lovely supportive messages over the last couple of days that we have received about our baby and our surrogacy.”

He went on to apologise for not responding to all the comments but said he had read as many as he could and thanked everyone for being so kind.
