Sarah Norcross, director of Progress Educational Trust (PET) will chair an online event to discuss the health of IVF babies
The event, entitled The Health of IVF Babies: What Do We Know? What Do We Need To Know? On Tuesday, February 23 from 5.30pm until 7pm.
Sarah said: ‘From what we do know about the health of IVF children, there’s no cause for alarm. But we should not be complacent, and there’s a need for ongoing research, in particular as new techniques are developed and used.
PET’s #IVFhealth event will hear from Professor Daniel Brison, professor of clinical embryology and stem cell biology, maternal and fetal health research centre, University of Manchester, Professor Anja Bisgaard Pinborg, chief consultant at the Juliane Marie Centre in Copenhagen, Dr Sebastiaan Mastenbroek, a senior clinical embryologist at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Amsterdam, and Dr Carrie Williams, NIRH research fellow, Great Ormond Street Institute for Child Health, UCL and clinical paediatrician.
