Some of Australia and New Zealand’s leading fertility experts will join a brand new virtual fertility expo that is set to be launched in June
The All About Fertility Virtual Expo is the first free exhibition of its kind in Australia and New Zealand and is being launched by founder Ella Mannix.
Ella decided to create the event following her own experience and a gap in the market for the type of essential information men and women need on their fertility journey or seeking to be first-time parents.
Ella said: “This new consumer exhibition is run by a consumer for consumers, it will provide up-to-date and essential information around the topics of fertility or becoming a first-time parent or perhaps someone is looking to preserve their fertility.
“One in six Australian couples suffer from infertility, so it’s a sensitive subject, and researching options can be overwhelming at best, and at times confusing and lonely.
“The All About Fertility virtual exhibition seeks to address a market gap and connects people with facts by providing the most relevant, up-to-date, and trustworthy information for men and women around fertility.”
In response to the pandemic and protecting healthcare providers and consumers, the event will move online
“Fertility is also still a taboo subject and while we’re trying to break barriers, we still have a lot of work to do,” Ella says. “Moving online will give attendees privacy in their own home.”
This one-day event will host exhibitors from the major IVF clinics; alternative medicine and therapy such as acupuncture and Chinese herbalists; surrogacy lawyers; support agencies; financial planners, health funds, and pharmaceuticals, who will give attendees the much-needed support through presentations, live panel discussions, and the ability to network with vendors via Zoom.
There will be a zone called Couch Time, which will have three experts from different fertility fields, such as an IVF specialist, naturopath, dietitian, all discussing topics from PCOS, endometriosis, unexplained infertility; giving a holistic view on the topic from each side.
The free expo will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 9am until 5.30pm and is aimed at an Australian and New Zealand audience.
