US reality television star Kourtney Kardashian has opened up about the alternative ways she is trying to get pregnant
The 43-year-old and her husband Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been open about their desire to have a child together.
The couple has six children between them but is keen to have a baby and has been documenting their IVF on the new Hulu television show, The Kardashians, and on social media.
Kourtney got a variety of different treatments including a vaginal steam session, known as a Panchakarma cleanse, a 3,000-year-old practice that removes toxins from the tissue.
The mother-of-three explained in a recent episode of the hit show that egg retrieval did not go well as the egg that was retrieved did not make it to the embryo stage.
She said: “The fertility journey, Travis and I stay in the moment with it and just do the steps we need to do.
“Travis and I want a baby and so my doctor took us down the IVF route but it hasn’t been the most amazing experience.”
The couple recently celebrated their union with an Italian wedding in Portofino, Italy surrounded by their famous siblings and close friends.
Their journey will continue to be portrayed in the reality show.
