ITV News UK editor Paul Brand has welcomed a son with husband Joe Cuddeford via surrogacy

The couple announced the exciting news to their 4,928 Instagram followers by posting two photos in June.

Tomos George Cuddeford-Brand was born weighing 9llbs 5 ozs and the couple shared the most wonderful photograph of them holding their little bundle of joy.

Paul said in the post: “Welcome to the world, Tomos George Cuddeford-Brand, 10th June. We have never known love like this before. You are the most priceless gift.”

The couple was showered with congratulatory posts from their celebrity friends and colleagues, including ITV presenters Julie Etchingham, Susannah Reid, and TOWIE star, Bobby Norris.

Five days before baby Tomos was born, the couple posted a photo of themselves with their surrogate and her husband.

Paul said: “Very special couple. Here we go…”
