Scientific data and results show that over 95% of cryopreserved eggs can be safely used in the fertilization process, achieving fertilization rates similar to those of fresh eggs!
Egg freezing (also known as cryopreservation) is very important for women who:
have been diagnosed with malignant disease
postpone the acquisition of offspring to an increasing age
have a family history of premature menopause.

Donation in Greece
What is the legal framework in Greece?
The legal framework for the Donation of Eggs and Embryos in Greece stipulates that:
- Recipients of the donation can be women up to 50 years old.
- The donation must be made on an anonymous basis.
Both the donor and the recipient, before the start of the procedure, sign the respective consent forms, as provided by law.
Greek law ensures the confidentiality of the egg donation process for both the donor and the recipient.
The physical characteristics of the couple receiving the donation are taken into consideration: blood type and Rh, height, eye and hair colour, biotype, etc.
