We love a good news story as much as a period drama – and now we can combine the two!
Jessica Brown Findlay, who played Lady Sybil Crawley in ITV’s Downton Abbey has revealed a beautiful baby bump at Venice Film Festival.
It’s the first child for Jessica and her husband of two years Ziggy Heath and the 32 year old is positively beaming.
The happy news comes after the couple revealed they were undergoing IVF earlier this year
In March, Jessica revealed to her 35,000 Instagram followers that she was administering hormone injections, saying, “Happy International Women’s Day! We do hard things and then go dancing x” as she showed a video of her daily injections.
“IVF has made me even more aware of just how much women are capable of and what we can achieve whilst going through pain and heart break.”
“Your body is not the enemy. Love it. No matter what. Sending love and support to every woman I have ever met and all the ones I haven’t but know what this is.”
Then she added, “I thoroughly recommend doing it all in Vintage Clothing”.
Vintage clothing or not, we’re delighted to see that all the pain and heart break of fertility struggles and then the emotional and physical anguish of going through IVF has paid off for Jessica and Ziggy
We wish them all the best and we can’t wait to see pictures of the new baby later this year!
