US model and actress Olivia Culpo has opened up about her endometriosis battle in the latest episode of her hit show, The Culpo Sisters
The 30-year-old opened up about her fertility fears and wish to become a mother one day when visiting her OB-GYN with best friend and assistant, Jackson.
In an exclusive clip given to Hollywood Life, the former Miss USA said she was making the appointment to find out if she had a looming timeline when it came to having children due to her endometriosis diagnosis.
In the clip, Dr Thais Aliabadi said to Oliva: “Let’s make sure your ovaries are looking well and your IUD is in a good place.”
Olivia said: “I just need something that will make me feel like I don’t have this looming timeline.
“When I see the ultrasound screen I get major PTSD. I’m just nervous. I hate these appointments.”
She goes on to share how much she appreciates Dr Aliabadi, who was the surgeon who carried out her endometriosis surgery back in 2019.
She said: “I love this doctor so dearly, but I hate going to the gynecologist because I am always so worried about what they are going to say.
“I just want to know that everything looks ok.”
Olivia admitted that she felt like she was under pressure to have children as soon as possible, but that her boyfriend of two years, San Francisco 49ers football player, Christian McCaffrey was not ready for children and was totally focused on his football career.
She said: “I’m so worried about what Christian thinks and putting pressure on my relationship in a way that is not going to move in a direction that I want, but that’s also not who I am.”
She also shares the excruciating pain she experiences each month during her cycle and the pain in between.
