US actress and comedian Abby Elliott has announced she is pregnant with her first child, following successful fertility treatment
The 33-year-old former star of Saturday Night Live! revealed the exciting news on her Instagram page with a heartfelt announcement.
The pair celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with several sweet photos of them at the beach, including one where Abby is seen cradling her baby bump.
Abby and husband, Billy Kennedy first spoke about their fertility struggles in February on the Kelly Clarkson show and have been documenting her fertility journey.
Abby joked with Kelly that Billy would be giving her ‘a very romantic’ Valentine’s Day gift of hormone shots in her bottom.
The Indebted actress said: “The hormones are very intense, and so many women go through this and we don’t talk about it enough. I think, as a woman, we need to raise more understanding and awareness.”

To anyone going through infertility, you are strong.”
Her post was inundated with hundreds of messages of support.
The celebrity couple revealed they have five frozen embryos and continue to shine a light on infertility.
The pair marked National Fertility Awareness Week in April with inspirational comments on how lonely infertility can be.
“Infertility sucks and my heart is with everyone that’s a member of ‘the worst club with the best members,'” she said.
She also said that despite how common infertility treatments are in the US, only 16 states offered some sort of insurance to cover the medical costs.
Abby said more needed to be done to combat this issue and said she would continue to raise awareness of infertility.
Several well known US names have discussed the need for better medical insurance, including Jay Palumbo, Dr. Mark Trolice, and reality television star, Gretchen Rossi.
Gretchen had her daughter after many years of infertility with her husband, Slade.
She has been an outspoken advocate for infertility and the need for federal and state governments to do more to support those struggling in poverty and infertility.
Abby and Billy’s baby is due in October, but the couple has not revealed whether they know the sex of the baby.
