Former top Australian football player, Moana Hope, has revealed she is hoping to have a family with wife Isabella Carlstrom after starting IVF treatment
The Northern Melbourne Football Club player decided to take a year out the game after she was delisted at the end of the 2019 season.
The 31-year-old told WHO magazine that she hoped the couple would be pregnant by the end of the year, after marrying in front of 100 family and friends in August.
Isabella plans to carry the child and Moana said the hope was to have ‘three or four children’.
The couple said they were ‘super excited’ about the prospect of becoming parents, with Moana being one of 14 children and both wanted to carry at least one each.
Isabella, who is a model, told the magazine in a previous interview that their journey had been in the making for some time.
She said: “It’s been in the works for about a year now and we’re going through the beautiful Monash IVF. Some people are like ‘Oh, don’t jinx it’, but I’m just throwing all my positivity out there and letting my body do it.”
