The Fertility Show is always a highlight of our calendar and this year was no different

The culmination of a fantastic week of fertility events and activity as part of National Fertility Week, the show hosted over 3, 300 visitors seeking information and support for the next stage of their fertility journey

Taking place on 8-10 November at London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre, The Fertility Show is now in its 11th year and IVF babble was proud to support the event alongside Fertility Network UK and Fertility Fest.

Once again IVF babble hosted the IVF babble Lounge which gave visitors a great place to relax, recharge and meet like-minded people and our ambassadors

IVF babble co-founders Tracey & Sara said: “The Fertility Show was fantastic again this year. There were some really exciting new additions to the line-up and as ever we met some wonderful people both offering and receiving support for fertility issues.

“This year, opening for the first time on Friday evening, the show aimed to attract an after-work crowd and single women who were looking for options for solo parenting.

“Our IVF babble Lounge offered an oasis of calm and support with counsellors, therapists and our IVF babble ambassadors who are all going through or have been through a fertility journey and were absolutely amazing in sharing experiences and advice from a patient’s perspective. We can’t thank them enough.

“It’s so important to share these experiences with each other and to celebrate the incredible work so many organisations are doing around the country.”

Over 60 seminars and talks from top industry experts ran throughout the show

The comprehensive programme included Tarek el-Toukhy talking about fertility treatment for older women, Dr Chris White from Cambridge IVF speaking about Egg Donation success rate and Professor Geeta Nargund who presented a talk on natural IVF. In addition to this, the event presented talks on nutrition and lifestyle as well as male infertility.

The Let’s Talk stage hosted by Natalie Silverman was a great place to listen to a hand-picked panel and ask questions

Popular sessions included Solo Motherhood, Fertility across the Globe and Plan B focusing on adoption, surrogacy and sperm donor treatment.

Laura Biggs, Managing Director of The Fertility Show commented

“The show felt like an event offering hope and positivity. The support and expertise in the room was immense and I know from talking to visitors that the show and its supporters really do make a difference to people’s lives.”

Over 100 companies supported the show

These included UK and overseas IVF clinics, lifestyle and well-being companies, charities, support networks, adoption agencies along with sperm and egg donation clinics.

The Fertility Show offers a great place to find out more from the world’s fertility experts about options for those seeking help for a route to parenthood.

The next Fertility Show in London will take place at London Olympia on 6-8 November 2020
