CARE Fertility to celebrate 31,000 babies milestone with teddy bear picnics across the UK

The CARE Fertility group will host a day of celebrations in September to mark the birth of more than 31,000 IVF babies

Teddy bear picnics will be held at Gulliver’s theme parks to mark the incredible achievement on Saturday, September 14 and all former CARE Fertility patients are welcome to attend.

The clinic was created in 1997 by founder and president, Professor Simon Fishel, who said: “CARE is the UK’s leading provider of fertility treatment, helping thousands of people become parents since we began.  It is a humbling thought that there are so many happy CARE families out there – thanks to lots of love and a little bit of science.”

Gulliver’s have wonderful family parks in Milton Keynes, Warrington, in Cheshire and Matlock Bath, in Derbyshire.  Special CARE tickets are on sale at 40 per cent discount.  CARE staff will be at a meeting point in the Parks with sweets, treats and cake for all the CARE Bear families who wish to come along.

Don’t forget to bring a teddy bear and a picnic

Clinic director, Judith Byrne, said: “To have a much wanted baby after perhaps years of infertility is a miracle for some of our patients.  We do get totally involved not only in treatment,  but also in supporting patients as soon as they come through our doors and afterwards.

“To see a family come back to see us with their baby is the most wonderful feeling.  We want to spread the word to our many former patients and invite them to come along to their nearest park.  What could be nicer than having as many of them all together for a fun day out.”
