Two Bollywood stars have openly discussed their surrogacy experiences.

Tusshar Kapoor on becoming a single father

Bollywood news and gossip website Pink Villa reported on actor Tusshar Kapoor’s decision to become a single father through surrogacy and his surprise at how accepting everyone in India has been about it.

“Initially, my parents were a bit apprehensive about announcing the child birth through IVF and surrogacy,” the actor told reporters at the launch of a fertility clinic.

He is proud father to Laksshya, who has just celebrated his third birthday.

The Golmaal actor did not feel the need to marry before becoming a father.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and how surrogacy has made his life complete

Aamir Khan, the Bollywood superstar, has also openly discussed his story sharing that his youngest son was born through surrogacy.

The actor-filmmaker is quoted as saying: “It’s such a joy to have a child in your life. When I had my first child, Junaid, it changed me, changed my life.”

Aamir, who had his son Azad – his third child – with second wife Kiran Rao through surrogacy in 2011, said: “I don’t know what I did for those 20 years before Azad was born. My life is so full now. I am so humbled by the completeness he makes me feel. We had a lot of trouble trying to have a child. I really didn’t think it would be possible to have a baby.”
