US actress Courteney Cox discusses her determination to become a mother

Popular US actress Courteney Cox has opened up about her multiple miscarriages before she become a mother

The 54-year-old Friends star was talking on the E! Entertainment Channel’s talk show, Busy Tonight, hosted by actress Busy Philipps.

Courteney was a guest on the show to promote her new docuseries following ten couples on their journey through pregnancy.

She said her own fertility issues have been really relevant to the process and hoped that by being open it would help others.

Heartache of miscarriages

She told host Busy: “I had a difficult time. I had a lot of miscarriages and I don’t think it is something people shouldn’t talk about because it’s unfortunate, but it happens.”

Courtney gave birth to daughter, Coco, at the age of 40, after suffering the miscarriages and having IVF.

The documentary style show will feature on Facebook Watch and the actress talks about her own pregnancy and her desire to become a mother.

She said: “I didn’t want to give up. I just think it’s so important to get things out there so people can realise they aren’t alone.”
