This week is a huge week in the fertility calendar – being national fertility week – and a very exciting one for us here at IVF babble as we launch our very own charity, Babble Giving
On Thursday evening we will officially launch the charity, which has been set up to for three reasons, to improve fertility education, raise awareness of the issues surrounding fertility and fundraise for those who are in need of financial assistance for fertility treatment.
It has been a year in development and since we launched IVF babble magazine, it has become more apparent with each week that passes that this is a charity that is so desperately needed.
Babble Giving will also work alongside existing fertility charities to raise the profile of the fertility world.
The first charity partnership is with Fertility Network UK, a fantastic organisation that supports anyone on a fertility journey.
The official launch will take place at the inaugural Babble Giving Fundraising Pineapple Ball being held at the Science Museum and will raise funds for both charities.
With tickets sold out, the glitzy event has attracted many fertility industry experts, influencers and celebrities from across the globe and we are looking forward to a magnificent evening of entertainment, emotion and enlightenment.
Our special guests include the fantastically talented award-winning comedian, Laura Lexx, and performing for us is the magnificent, Sophie Ellis-Bexter.
In 2018 we have have so far given away 15 free IVF cycles after joining forces with fertility clinics across the globe.
With the launch of Babble Giving, we will be able to continue that work and do even more to support you.
We plan to offer grants to people in need, raise awareness of global infertility, through storytelling from around the world and use their own experiences to educate young people about the importance of knowing about their own fertility.
We look forward to working alongside the leading fertility clinics across the globe to support you on what can be a long path.
But we hope that with you knowing you have us by your side it will give you some comfort on your way.
Look out for next week’s blog on the Pineapple Ball.
