It’s great to have friends who have the right contacts and Maria Menounos must be delighted she has Kim Kardashian on speed dial after she revealed she is considering surrogacy
The 40-year-old US television host recently said that Kim had ‘put her in touch with all her people’ after previous attempts at IVF failed and a benign brain tumour has altered her options to become a mother.
The former actress had surgery to remove the tumour in July 2017 and was forced to step down from her role as anchor for E! News.
Maria married her long-term partner, Keven Undergaro on New Year’s Eve in 2017 in Times Square, New York and wasted no time spelling out that the couple would love to start a family.
She recently told US Weekly that she had been given some great advice by 37-year-old Kim, who recently welcomed her third child, Chicago, with the help of a surrogate mother.
Maria and Keven had IVF treatment in 2016 and created several embryos, which are currently in the freezer and hope to start the surrogacy process later this year.
“Miss Kim K. has connected me with all of her people,” Menounos said. “My husband and I are going to Greece this fall and we’re going to do another wedding ceremony. Once we get back, we’ll do it.”
Kim recently said she was the ‘biggest fan of surrogacy’ on her reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
