IVF babble co-founders Tracey Bambrough and Sara Marshall-Page have this week travelled to Chicago to attend the fantastic Midwest Reproductive Symposium International
This is the second year the pair have attended the event, which is held to bring together fertility experts from across the US and the globe.
The three-day event is aimed at physicians, mental health professionals and scientists, and is a mixture of interactive workshops, lectures and panel discussions, with the objective of presenting the latest research, technologies and education in reproductive medicine.
The event began in 2003 and has since grown into one of the world’s largest and most respected reproductive expos.
At the 2017 event the world’s first IVF baby, Louise Brown met the US first IVF baby, Elizabeth Carr and this year the event will mark the anniversary of Louise’s birth 40 years ago.
As well as attending the prestigious event, Tracey and Sara will also participate in a fertility walk being hosted by US charity, Resolve, the US National Infertility Association.
The Chicagoland Walk of Hope two-mile walk will take place at Hodges Park, Park Ridge, on Saturday, June 9 from 8am and hopes to raise $15,000.
