Celebrities getting in on the act too.
A cute pineapple pin has been taken up as a symbol of support for women and couples struggling with fertility issues.
The badge is the brainchild of fertility website IVFBabble.
“Whether you have been through fertility issues yourself or if you know others who are struggling now, or in the past, to see others wearing the pin will highlight ‘we are not alone’ and that ‘we are stronger together’,” they explain on the site.
The pins cost £4.99 and all profits made go directly to charity the Fertility Network.
Hundreds of women have worn the pins to show their support as well as raise awareness of fertility issues, which IVFBabble say affect more than one in six women worldwide.
A number of celebrities have also posted pics of themselves wearing the pins.
TV presenters Fearne Cotton and Kate Thornton and author Izzy Judd (wife of McFly star Harry Judd) are amongst those who are proud to wear the pineapples.
Fearne Cotton wrote: “I’m wearing this pineapple pin to show my strength, love and support for those whose lives have been touched by fertility struggles.”
Kate Thornton said: “Proudly wearing this pin to show love and support for those who’ve been touched by fertility struggles.”
Izzy Judd shares her own struggles
And Izzy Judd spoke of her own struggles with fertility issues in a heartfelt post on Instagram.
“The amount of times I sat in silence feeling desperately alone during our fertility struggles, often wondering who around me might be suffering too,” she wrote.
“I often wondered why I never spoke to the same lonely girl sat next to me in the waiting room at our IVF clinic, I so wish I had!
“How wonderful would it be to see others wearing the same badge and to realise that so many people are touched by infertility.
“Surely this powerful badge can help us to all feel stronger together and maybe even allow us to start a conversation.”
