Being stronger together

Since the launch of our campaign #ivfstrongertogether back in November, everything is starting to feel different….it feels as though we are all reaching out to one another to hold hands, wherever we are on the turbulent journey to parenthood.

It feels lovely, it feels comforting and it feels safe. The silence is breaking and conversations are starting as women and men from all parts of the globe are talking to each other, sharing stories and experiences.

As the awareness of the pineapple pin spreads across the globe, we can literally begin to see the lives that have been touched by infertility.

You must let us know when you spot someone wearing a pin and how it makes you feel…and let’s not forget the profit from the pins sold goes to the wonderful Fertility Network who continue to offer invaluable help and counsel to so many people.

As some of you may already know, we are going to be organising ‘get togethers’ in 2018 with our first being in London on Saturday, 20th January. They will be very laid back afternoons of tea and cake.

Everyone whose lives have been touched by infertility is welcome. If this sounds a bit daunting, please know that you are not alone. We have had many emails from women and men who have kept their fertility struggles and IVF a secret from friends and family and are feeling a little nervous, despite wanting to be there. To suddenly be in a room with other people and to talk openly about your experience is a big leap, but it may help lift that feeling of anguish and solitude. Don’t put any pressure on yourself. Do what is right for you, just know that we are here for you.

As always, let us know how the website is working for you. Are we covering the right topics? What would you like to read more of? Are you finding it useful? IVFbabble is for you, so your feedback is important.

If you would like any questions answered, please remember that all you need to do is get in touch and we will get straight on to our amazing experts.

We want to send much love to you and to wish you a Merry Christmas from everyone on the IVFbabble team.

Next year already feels as though it’s going to be a year full of hope and change. Let’s continue to hold hands and charge forwards into 2018 stronger together.
