Thousands of visitors struggled through the overcast streets of Berlin to reach last weekend’s Berlin Fertility Show, held for the first time in the city.
There was a lively, informative and supportive atmosphere with lots of visitors arriving as soon as the doors opened at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning. As they walked through the doors visitors were handed a bag containing a programme which included a clear guide to the various companies and products represented there, listing workshops running throughout the weekend. The bag also contained fun sperm shaped sweets to lighten the mood.
There were 46 stands at the Show including a wide range of Clinics and fertility related products from all over Europe and America.
The Clinics were keen to explain the various different treatments they offer and most had their own medical professionals available to explain what was on offer and how individuals may be best suited to their Clinic’s approach.
There was a fascinating range of products available, from home sperm testing kits to health supplements designed to help improve health and overall well-being.
There was a programme of interesting seminars being delivered throughout the morning and afternoon on a range of fertility related topics including how sperm swim, the relationship between stress and infertility and how to boost fertility and prevent miscarriage with nutrition.
All in all it felt like a very successful show with great interaction between visitors and exhibitors.
